Let’s be real—growing up, most of us didn’t have open conversations about hormones. In many of our homes, temas like menstruation, menopause, or mood swings were whispered about—if they were talked about at all.
But our bodies deserve more than silence. Our cultura deserves open, healing spaces.
That’s why we are hosting Charla Entre Chicas: Women in Transition—an intimate, culturally-rooted gathering where we’ll talk about how Latina women experience and navigate hormonal changes across every season of life.
Our facilitators, along with Dr. Julie Saysha R. Gonzalez, OB/GYN, will lead a heartfelt charla on what’s happening in our bodies and how we can better care for ourselves, with insight, humor, and love. We’ll also explore how our culture shapes how we talk (or don’t talk) about these changes—and how we can break generational silence con cariño y comunidad.
