Faciliated Discussions
We offer facilitated discussions on topics that are meaningful to the Latino and Latinx community, including cultural identity, shared experiences, and the joys and challenges of raising bicultural children. Through gatherings such as Sofrito Sunday, Temas y Tapas, Charla Entre Chicas, and Bochinche Brunch, we create spaces for learning, connection, and community support that help families nurture strong cultural roots.
Community Events
Lead and collaborate with community-based organizations to host cultural events, coordinate service opportunities, and support programs that uplift the Latino and Latinx community. Our celebrations give families opportunities to immerse their children in cultural traditions through joyful, hands-on experiences that spark pride and connection. These gatherings help preserve heritage, strengthen cultural identity, and create lasting memories for families. Signature events include Parranda Navideña with a Twist, Cena con los Reyes, and Noche de Velitas.
Outreach
Our outreach services connect Latina Moms Connect directly with families in the community. Through tabling events, community fairs, school engagements, and local gatherings, we share information about our programs, cultural events, and opportunities to connect. Outreach allows us to meet families where they are, build new relationships, and invite moms, dads, children, and caregivers to be part of a supportive community rooted in culture, identity, and connection.
